A little bit about me...
Name: Heather Kroeger
Born: August 1975
Background: I was born in Colorado, where I still live with my husband, 2 cats, and some fish. I did some drawing when I was a kid, but didn't start art as a serious hobby until I was 24.
About the Art: My art is primarily illustration in the style of Japanese animation. Inspiration can come from just about anywhere, I get a lot of mine from stories, poetry and songs.
Favorite Anime Series/Movies : I have a whole long list of series and movies that I enjoy, but if I had to narrow it down to just a few, they would be Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Fruits Basket, Sprited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Chrono Crusade, Grave of the Fireflies, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hellsing, Bleach, Samurai Champloo, and Slayers.
Favorite Non-Anime Series and Movies: Again, I have a long list here, but my favorite series right now are 24, House and Firefly. Some of my favorite movies include Glory, The Shawshank Redemption, Labyrinth and The Secret of NIMH.
Favorite Books: Harry Potter, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Gone With the Wind and Sherlock Holmes stories.
Other Hobbies: Besides drawing and painting and having some ideas for sculptures floating around in my head, I also like to write and hope to finish the book I am currently working on soon. I also have a motorcycle license and an amatuer radio license.
